Walk Together - Itchen Valley Country Park

Come and join us for our Walk Together event at the beautiful Itchen Valley Country Park.  It is an easy paced walk for bereaved parents and family members suitable for all fitness levels. The focus is on 'walk and talk' rather than a workout as we understand how valuable it can be to talk or just be in the company of others who share your experience.

The walk will be led by Donna one of the Trustees of Aching Arms and will be followed by a FREE tea/coffee and a slice of cake in the on site café.

Coffee Morning - Aching Arms Hub in Halesowen.

Our Be Together coffee mornings are for bereaved families who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby, during pregnancy, at birth or soon after.

Come along for support and understanding in a safe and compassionate environment at our coffee mornings.

Whether you're seeking advice, friendship, or simply a listening ear, you'll find it here among fellow parents who have walked a path similar to your own.
Together, we can support each other through this journey of grief.

There is no need to sign up, just come along between 11am and 2pm to our Aching Arms Hub.

Family Glow Jar Crafting in Bristol.

Family Glow Jar Crafting in Bristol.

Come along to our family glow jar crafting session. This event is in collaboration with Marie fom ARTY Bristol. Enjoy making a glow jar in the compan of other bereaved siblings and their parents/family members. Afterwards, you will be welcome to stay and explore the beautiful wildlife park. 

Refreshments will be provided, and each family attending will get to dedicate a comfort bear in memory of a baby special to them, to their local hospital.

Fun on the Farm - Meet the Animals & Teddy Bears Picnic

Held at Hawthorne Farm, we would love for you and your family to come and join us for this wonderful event being held on a working family farm.

The event is for bereaved parents, siblings and family members to come together and be in the company of others who share your experience.   There will be a teddy bears picnic, the opportunity to meet some small farm animals and weather depending, tractor rides on a vintage tractor. 

If you have an Aching Arms bear, please bring it along with you.  

Refreshments and sandwiches will be provided for FREE.

We would love you to join us for a Teddy Bears picnic in Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie the Pooh.  

The event is for bereaved parents, siblings and family members to come together and be in the company of others who share your experience. 

Bring a picnic, a blanket or chairs and your Aching Arms bear and soak up the magical landscape that inspired one of the world’s best loved children’s stories, the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh.

Let's Get Out - Family Foresty Session with Camp Fire Lunch

Let's Get Out - Family Foresty Session with Camp Fire Lunch

Come along and join us at our Family Foresty Session in Essex in colloboration with Let's Get Out, followed by a camp fire lunch. 

The 4 hour session is aimed at bereaved families and siblings.  We will come together in the woods and enjoy activities such as bush craft and treasure hunts, culminating in cooking your own lunch over a campfire.  It really is fun for all the family.  

Each family attending will get to dedicate a comfort bear in memory of a baby special to them, to their local hospital. 

Refreshments will be provided, please let us know of any dietary requirements on the form below.

Location:  Kelvedon Hatch, near Chelmsford Essex (exact location to be confirmed)
