The Be Together events are funded by the wonderful grant we have received from Global's Make Some Noise charity. The Aching Arms Be Together events are an opportunity for our community to come together. Held throughout the UK, they provide an opportunity to spend time doing activities with others who have some understanding of what you have experienced. Our past events include, football matches for Dads, picnics, camp fire and tree planting events and a sibling fun farm day. When attending an event, there is no expectation that you will discuss your story, but if you choose to, you can share it with those around you. We want you to know you are not alone, and our events can be a way of creating new memories in honour of a baby special to you. We would love to see you at one of our upcoming events, you can find out more by clicking on the events coming up box below and following us on social media.

In collaboration with Footprints Baby Loss Charity we would love for you and your family to come and join us for the day at Bekonscot model Village. The day is aimed at bereaved families, including siblings and surviving twin/triplets. Located in the town of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire you will spend the day with other bereaved families exploring a wonderful little world set within the most beautiful gardens. You can navigate your way around the lighthouse and boating pond using our remote controlled boats. There is a small additional fee for this attraction which accepts cashless payment only. There is also a pirate themed play area which has been recently installed. Entrance to the village is FREE and every family attending will be able to dedicate a bear for free in memory of a baby/babies special to them. However, we do ask for a £5 refundable deposit to secure your space (which you can choose to donate to the charities). The day will run from 10:30 – 2:30. We will start by meeting at the entrance. We will then head over to the education centre, which will be our base for the day. In the education centre there will be craft activities for you to do at your leisure or you can go off and explore the wonderful village and gardens. We will then come together at 12:00 for lunch. After lunch you can continue to explore the village. We understand coming to these events can be a big step and feel overwhelming. We want you to know this is ok, we are also bereaved parents and we will be there to support you if needed.
