There are many different ways to get involved, whether you take part in one of our campaigns, host your own fundraising event, or take on a sporting challenge, we will be delighted to welcome you to Team Aching Arms.
Thank you for everything you do to raise money for us. Your kindness will bring comfort to many and our work quite simply couldn’t happen without you.
If you would like to discuss any fundraising ideas or have any questions, please contact our Fundraising Coordinator, Karen Summers at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 07826 067780.
Taking part in Miles in Memory gave us the space and focus to honour our son, Leo. We really cherished the time – it was a new way to create memories and channel our grief.

We understand how important it is for your baby to be remembered and how special it is to hear their name. Say Their Name is our remembrance event to create a beautiful and everlasting tribute to your much-loved babies.
Taking place on Friday 14th May 2021 (weather permitting), from the stunning surroundings of an ancient bluebell woods, our Founder/CEO Leanne Turner, will start the remembrance by reading a moving poem before saying aloud each of your babies' names in turn. A video recording of the tribute will be shared on our social media platforms at 6pm on the same day. It is our honour to remember your babies in this beautiful, calm, and tranquil place and it is our privilege to bring Aching Arms families together in unison for our remembrance event.
We invite you to join Say Their Name by making a donation of your choice in support of our ongoing work, and then when prompted please leave the name of the baby/babies you would like Leanne to read out at the remembrance event.

Walk, jog, run, cycle or swim to remember a baby special to you. Throughout October, in support of Baby Loss Awareness Week, we invite you join our Miles in Memory challenge to celebrate the memory of babies who have touched your lives, whilst raising vital funds for Aching Arms. Miles in Memory is a great opportunity to get active and be a part of something special. Your help will ensure we can continue to offer comfort and support to bereaved families following the loss of their baby.

Many families find great comfort in donating Aching Arms bears, and for them it's a special way of remembering their baby at Christmas. So, every Christmas we invite you to dedicate a bear in memory of a baby special to you.
Each beautiful Aching Arms bear wears a personalised, handwritten label with the name of the baby in whose memory the bear was dedicated. The label also connects families to sources of information, support and understanding. The bear you donate will be gifted to another bereaved family which extends the arm of friendship and helps other bereaved parents to know they are not alone.
As a thank you for donating at Christmas, in 2019 we added the names of babies who had a bear donated in their memory, to a bauble on our Christmas tree graphic, and in 2020 we added the babies’ names to a star on our beautiful ‘Sky Full of Stars’ graphic. The graphics were shared on our social media platforms throughout December culminating with a special montage on Christmas Eve.
Donate a Bear at Christmas will be back in November 2021 along with a brand-new graphic which we’re excited to share with you. Further information on how you can donate your Christmas bears will be posted here later in the year.
Instead of sending traditional Christmas cards, please consider donating to Aching Arms and we will send you a beautifully festive, personalised eCard that has been exclusively designed for our supporters.
We will personalise your eCard as requested and email it to you. It can then be shared with your family and friends via your social media pages and/or email, along with your own Christmas message.
Our Christmas eCards will be back in November 2021 with a brand-new design. Further information will be posted here later in the year.
